Education Qualification :

1.Professor 

• M.Ed./ M.A. in relevant Subject
• Ph.D. in relevant Subject

2.Associate Professor

•  M.A. in relevant Subject
• Ph.D. in relevant Subject

3.Assistant Professor

• M.A. in relevant Subject
•  NET in relevant Subject

4.Librarian 

• Master’s Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation Science+ 10 years of experience

5.Assistant Librarian

• Master’s Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation Science

Age :

It may be noted that the age of retirement on superannuation in NCERT is 65 years.

Pay Scale :

1.Professor  : ₹ 37,400-67,000 with AGP-10,000

2.Associate Professor : ₹ 37,400-67,000 with AGP-9,000

3.Assistant Professor : ₹ 15,600-39,100 with AGP-6,000

4.Librarian  : Rs.37,400-67,000 with AGP-10,000

5.Assistant Librarian : Rs.15, 600-39,100 with AGP-6,000
