Assam Agriculture University has published a notice regarding recruitment for DBT funded project “Development of superior haplotype based near isogenic dines (Haplo-NIL)for enhanced genetic gain in rice” invites applications for filling up the following posts

1.Senior Project Associate: (Number of post I)  

Qualification and Experience: Master Degree in Agricultural Science/ Biotechnology from a recognized university or equivalent with Four Year Experience in Research & Development in industrial or academic institution or Science and Technology organizations and scientific activities and services OR Doctoral degree in Agricultural Science from recognized university or equivalent.

Emoluments: Rs. 42000/. + 8% HRA

2.Project Associate-I: (Number of post I) 

Qualification and Experience: Master Degree in Agricultural Science/ Biotechnology from a recognized university or equivalent (Preference will be given to Plant Breeding and Genetics/Biotechnology)

Emoluments: Rs. 31000/- + 8% HRA

3.Field Worker: (Number of posts 2)

Qualification and Experience:

  1. Field Worker 1: Graduate Degree in any Discipline with experience in rice breeding activities
  2. Field Worker 2: Graduate Degree in any Discipline with experience in molecular marker laboratory work

Emoluments: 18000/- — 8%HRA
